Mark Mote, Matt Abate & Ben Mains are helping robots and autonomous vehicles see better. After having worked deeply in robotics (including two PhD’s), they realized the biggest unsolved problem in the field is reliable perception. This was from witnessing first-hand driverless cars not making sense of their surroundings.

Pytheia is working to improve the visual awareness of cars and robots by allowing them to take advantage of external sensors.
